Member Post by Calandra Williams: Pursuing Your Purpose
There is much beauty to be found in moving out of your comfort zone into pursuing your purpose. The shift from familiarity can make you uncomfortable but it’s what causes transformation to occur on the inside of you.
The moment we begin to pursue purpose is the day we discover who God has called us to be in Him. Your healing process and growth often soars when you surrender to the process of knowing that you were created with a purpose in mind. That is not by accident that you are here. But God has developed a perfect plan for your life. All things are working together for your good.
There is is freedom found in discovering who you are as a person and freedom in knowing that you have the power to fulfill the purpose. You can rest in the fact that God has a plan for your life. You don’t have to waste time planning a perfect life because he has already done that for you. You just have to pursue Him to catch the vision and provision that he has for your life.
Can I be honest with you for a moment?!
Pursuing purpose is not an easy task. There are days that you will want to give up. He gave you the vision and you even had the provision. You believed in yourself and saw a glimpse of the manifestation of the dream God had given you.
There are moments were things in your life will seem stagnant as if nothing is happening or going right for you. The plan you thought God had for you seems to be falling apart. Because you see failure, you lose momentum. You attempt to move on to something better. To only find that you are in a cycle and you end up right back where you started.
Don’t lose hope. Don’t give up on the dream. Don’t give up on God. There will always be moments in our lives that will make us uncomfortable. Those moments aren’t to break us. It’s there to heal us and perfect us as God’s children. It causes you to grow and soar in your calling.
